A cine-concert in homage to these forgotten women

After researching and watching her filmography, Isabelle Olivier came up with the idea of creating a cine-concert around the figure of Alice Guy. In her artistic journey, Isabelle Olivier has collaborated four times with Agnès Varda – a pioneer of contemporary cinema. This deep motivation drives her to return to her roots. In tribute to these unfairly forgotten cinema pioneers, Isabelle Olivier, along with TomOlivier-Beuf, composes an eclectic program accessible to all, incorporating a particularly elaborate sonic exploration between acoustic and electronic elements.

Un ciné-concert en hommage à ces femmes oubliées.

Après avoir recherché et visionné sa filmographie, Isabelle Olivier a eu l’idée de créer un ciné-concert autour de la figure d’Alice Guy. Dans son parcours artistique, Isabelle Olivier a notamment collaboré à quatre reprises avec Agnès Varda – pionnière du cinéma contemporain. C’est ainsi une motivation profonde qui l’anime à retourner à ses racines. En hommage à ces pionnières du cinéma injustement oubliées, Isabelle Oli- vier compose avec TomOlivier-Beuf un programme éclectique, accessible à tous.tes, en revêtant une recherche sonore particulièrement élaborée entre acoustique et électronique.

La Compagnie Métamorphose proposera cette nouvellecréation le jeudi 12 janvier à 20h30 au cinéma de L’épée debois, 100 Rue Mouffetard Paris 5è.
